Virginia Tech

The poultry industry in Virginia employs as many as 15,654 people across the Commonwealth and generates an additional 36,639 jobs in supplier and ancillary industries. These include jobs in companies supplying goods and services to the industry.

Youth Convention
Virginia Poultry Federation holds its annual Youth Convention at the Rockingham County Fairgrounds in April. Over 250 FFA and 4-H youth, ranging in age from 10 to 18, participate in poultry judging contests and educational activities related to the poultry industry.

Virginia Poultry Federation is also proud to provide financial support for the Virginia FFA Foundation, Virginia 4-H, and the Ag in the Classroom.
