The first Miss Virginia Poultry Pageant was held in 1939, and Ruth Wampler was crowned on the lawn of Wilson Hall at Madison College (now James Madison University). By the mid 1980's the title and pageantry disappeared, but to celebrate VPF's 100th anniversary, we are bringing it back in 2025!

This scholarship pageant will be open to all Virginia residents in various age categories from toddler to Mrs. The Jr. Miss, Miss and Mrs. winners will act as spokeswomen and ambassadors for Virginia Poultry at various events and engagements.
