The Eberly Family

The Eberly family grows No Antibiotic Ever toms for Virginia Poultry Growers Cooperative. Josh took over the operation from his father, Charles in 2021. While Charles and Josh take care of the day-to-day chores, walking and caring for the birds each day, Tessa and their four children also enjoy helping with feeding cattle and tending to the turkeys.

Josh says they work with their service techs to communicate bird health and use biosecurity practices to prevent the spread of disease. They also have a water sanitization system and keep the areas around the poultry houses mowed to help prevent mice and other disease-carrying animals from coming close to the building.
