Mr. Brent Knicely

Brent Knicely of Burntwoods Farm has been growing poultry since 2011. He purchased the farm from his family in 2016 and grows for VPGC.

Brent follows his nutrient management plan and strives to be a good steward of the land God has given him to care for.

Brent says he strives to keep the houses and equipment in good shape so the birds thrive. He also has good communication with his service tech and other co-op management.

Brent grew up on a turkey farm and his job was to help care for them. He says, "As an adult I have learned to enjoy the challenge that each flock brings and the challenges that make a healthy and happy bird."
